The definition between luxury and designer can be a muddied one, so this exquisite resort has made things simple by encapsulating both. Tucked deep into the Daintree's antediluvian forest, it swims in a sea of lush green and rich polished wood.
There are two equally-priced room styles offering different structures and features depending on what kind of indulgence you're looking for. The 'Rainforest Retreats' are free-standing mini-lodges isolated in their own belt of rainforest. Crisp, alabaster sheets contrast brightly against the polished timber and cane structures. Ample windows and doors allow the outdoor environment to dominate the decor and air-con is sacrificed for ceiling fans. In the main complex, the 'Daintree Retreats' contain more creature comforts, including CD players, oil burners and air-con. Stylish day beds lace the windows and dappled light glints off the walls. There are also two pools, a natural swimming hole nearby and beach access.
