The Imperial is a small oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city outside. The lobby's soft lighting, gurgling fountain and comfy leather chairs work together to give this big hotel a small guesthouse feel. The rooms won't wow you but they're sure to keep you comfortable.

With a typical international chain hotel look about them, the standard rooms here won't give you anything to write to your favourite design rag about. Head up to superior or business class and you'll find a few Asian influences like hanging screens attempting to divide up not-so-big rooms. Nevertheless, the rooms are comfortable and modern and what they lack in exciting decor, the hotel makes up for with stellar, well-reputed service. Linger over your breakfast in the hotel's lush atrium garden restaurant or sip a Tuborg in the cosy, candlelit bar.
