Small and a little worn, Hotel Jørgensen has a homey feel about it and quite a bit of character. Simple but comfortable, it's very friendly, super-relaxed and excellently located. Private rooms come in different shapes and sizes but are all spacious. Sometimes quaint, other times verging on tacky, they're basic but definitely don't conform to your standard hotel look.

Mainly kitted out in a hodgepodge of IKEA-like furniture, in some rooms you'll also find some brocade chairs, funny little bed lights and tacky city-at-night-style posters. Rooms with private bathrooms have a proper shower and a glass bathroom door; you can try to figure out the point of it while you linger in the home-style breakfast room downstairs. Rooms with shared bathrooms have a sink and mirror. If you're happy to share a bathroom and use a freestanding clothes rack for a closet, Room No 16 has a unique shape and faces a quiet courtyard. Dorms are basic with yellow walls and bunk beds that sleep six to twelve people per room. The hotel's lobby and bar are pleasant with warm wood furnishings, tapestries and Chinese touches.
