Location. Adjacent to a sandy beach in Airlie Beach, Australia, this small hotel is 200 meters from the town center and one kilometer from Able Point Marina. Hotel features. Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat, a nonsmoking hotel, overlooks Pioneer Bay and its surrounding sandy beach and tropical rainforest. The hotel offers an outdoor pool and sundeck, tropical gardens, yoga classes, massage, bird- watching and tours to the Great Barrier Reef and other locations. Guests also have discounted access to a nearby gym. Complimentary Continental breakfasts are served daily. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are several in Airlie Village.
