Towering above Playa Revolcadero, this famous hotel was built in 1971 in the shape of a giant Aztec pyramid. The 1017 recently renovated rooms are divided among three towers; all rooms are spacious and luxurious with marble and contemporary furnishings.This place is BIG. Its core 'pyramid' has a towering, 15-story atrium lobby. The 194 hectares of lush, landscaped grounds also contain a golf course, nine tennis courts, five swimming pools, two fitness centers and a dozen bars and restaurants, enough to keep you and the entire clan busy for days on end. Rooms come with varying views, but all have a high standard of comfort and lots of nice touches like dual sinks and digital room safes. Playa Revolcadero is one of Acapulco's nicest beaches, and the best resorts in the area are found here. The only catch: you're about 10km from the action of Old Town.
