This huge and ritzy five-star hotel is essentially geared towards the business traveller, but still attracts its fair share of holiday-makers from around the world who know exactly what to expect of this reputable international chain.

The Hyatt isn't as centrally placed as most of Delhi's other top five-star hotels, but it's still easily accessible from the city centre. The standard rooms are contemporary in style, with attractive wooden floorboards and the usual five-star facilities such as a personal electronic safe, well-stocked minibar and gleaming marble bathroom. The only drawback is that rooms can be disappointingly small. There are very good restaurants on site including the award-winning La Piazza (Italian) and Aangan, the latter doing a particularly good job of kebabs. Other hotel facilities include a gorgeous outdoor swimming pool, pampering spa, dazzling shopping arcade, and state-of-the-art business centre that offers translation services (English, German, French and Spanish) and can even print personal business cards in case you forgot to bring yours.
