This high-up Hyatt is all class and ideal for sport lovers. Above the expat partytown of Itaewon, the Hyatt has all the bells and whistles of a luxury hotel plus wonderful views from every window.The duo playing classical music in the railway station of a lobby sets the scene for this classy hotel in rather unclassy Itaewon. Older green-themed rooms are solid but verging on dull, while newly renovated rooms are fresher and brighter. Sports addicts can swim indoors and out, play tennis, work out in the spiffy gym, do yoga, aerobics, soak in the spa... The multi-faceted nightclub JJ Mahoney's, with its DJs, chill-out zones and live band, is popular despite the 190,00.00 drinks. Take a taxi as it's an uphill slog from the subway station.
