A lovely stretch of sand and expansive gardens are the standout features of this resort. There are plenty of watersports on offer, a great spa, extensive health club facilities and numerous dining options. A great resort for families or those who want an active seaside holiday.

The resort consists of three seemingly unrelated buildings. Tying them together are extensive landscaping and pools fronting a vast private beach.There are plenty of activities including windsurfing, tennis and squash. Children have their own playgrounds and kids club, making Le Royal Meridien excellent for an activities-based family holiday, but bad for a honeymoon. The deluxe rooms of the resort are well appointed with upper-end amenities. There's no shortage of bars, including a swim-up pool bar, but our favourite is Maya, a Mexican restaurant where you can throw back margaritas as you watch the sun slip into the sea. Note that building activity from the nearby Dubai Marina can be heard and seen from many of the rooms.
