This is where high-end, Ibiza-style living began. Hotel Hacienda remains the haunt of megastars in search of downtime, tucked away discreetly on a high point with views out to sea. Various grades of double and suite offer opulence and comfort.
If you want to rub shoulders with the rich and famous, this is the place to stay. Approaching it, the hotel seems like a discreetly low-slung country estate, but it actually has six levels built into the steep cliff facing out to sea. Rooms are furnished in various styles, with that Ibiza-meets-the-Orient imprint influencing much of the decor. Rooms come with all imaginable modern facilities but only the more expensive ones have sea views. Never mind, you can get those incredible views from the pool, the balconies of the breakfast and dining areas and the cascadas suspendidas (a series of little cascading pools, one set below the other). The spa facilities are set in caverns that resemble whitewashed dwellings in southern Tunisia.
