A new entrant in the upscale boutique category, the Hacienda is lovely by night with illuminated columns leading you past the pool to your classically styled chambers. By day you can see that the hotel still needs a bit of work to qualify for the hefty price tag. Still, it beats staying in a heartless business hotel for most.
