Located to the northeast of the town center at the school crossing, this inimitable hostelry offers dorm-style beds, private rooms with shared bath, and one cheerful top-floor room with veranda and private bath. There's no hot water, phones or TV; self-catered meals can be prepared in the two communal kitchens. Also on the site is a Montessori-style preschool (making for lively afternoons when school is in session), and a holistic healing center.
