Your looking for a cheap room, a night, a lodging, a bed to sleep in Potsdam? OK - You can stop looking for - you have found us ;-)

SECRETS - You cannot find cheaper accomodation in Potsdam - from 19 euros per person and night, you're there.

The Potsdam hostel is in the cultural centre of Potsdam and still very quiet. Potsdam hostel is the first of its kind in Potsdam. It is in a fantastic, 'Italian village', on the north side of the park Sanssouci. The park borders directly on the property. Directly opposite is the 'Krongut Bornstedt' with a rich culinary offer.

There is a bakery open every day from 7.00 and a guest house brewery with the selfmade 'Büffelchen' beers, a hairdresser, Cafe Victoria and there are many shops to explore. In 15-minutes walk you are in the heart of Potsdam. Simple, clean rooms with 4-8 beds and toilets, bathrooms and showers. A community with complete kitchen facilities, a common room with TV and PC with a fast Internet connection for free use are available. Potsdam Hostel also provides a free wireless connection.

For guests who want something with more comfort we also have rooms with toilet and shower and mini-kitchen. These rooms are also well suited as a small apartment.

Potsdam's most popular sight is the Schloß Sanssouci palace located in the park to which it gives its name. However, there are far more than the former summer residency of Frederick the Great and the Sanssouci park to make your visit worthwhile. The Alexandrowka, the Holländisches Viertel (the Dutch quarter) and the Weaver's quarter - the historic sections of the city - provide the flair of a city steeped in European tradition.

The Babelsberg Filmpark, the Biosphäre nature experience exhibition, the National Horticulture Show park, known as the BUGA park, built for the National Horticulture Show in 2001, the tourist cruise ships and the crown estate, the Krongut Bornstedt, are all special attractions which will make your visit to Potsdam a very pleasurable experience.
