• *** Best Way To arrives, take a legitimate TAXI, that says Taxi and tell the driver to take you to the 'Hotel Astoria on Costera Miguel Aleman'
• This is a cheap way to go and will solve you having to ask every few minutes of the walk if you are near us. As many of you know, the old ways of Mexico and finding an address was to locate a famous 'statue' or corner of 2 streets ( called 'calle' or Avinida in Spanish) and then describe on what side of that item you were!!
• Well things have not changed much..But we are directly across the street from the Beach, not only a famous Beach, but on a Famous Street. The Beach 'Caleta' or Playa Caleta.
• If you look on our locator map on WRI and focus into it, you can see that our Street ' Av. Costera Miguel Alemán' is the largest street that runs the coast line of the famous beaches of Acapulco. Our # 10 is assigned to our 'drive in enterance' , and we are located next to a famous Hotels..the 'Sands' . As you travel down Avenue Costera Miguel, you will pass a 'cross street' that is called ' La Costera Avenue' and we are 50 Meters past that on right side. Here is the directions to proceed from various points:
• Arrival By Bus From the Station at Acapulco
• ? You can walk, it's about 1/2 a mile. . You would walk towards the tourist zone and the Condesa beach. This part of the street is alive with shops, sidewalk cafes and 'street peddlers' If you have many bags and do not want to walk, place yourself on Costera Miguel Aleman and wait for any bus that says 'Wal Mart- Base' and get off the Bus at 'Caleta Beach', we are across the street. The cost for the bus is virtually nothing , 6 pesos.
• Or you may take a taxi in the street in front of the bus station. The cost for 1 to 4 people will be 30 to 40 pesos approx. Make sure the price is agreed upon before getting into the taxi.
• From the airport: ? The airport is located well outside the city limits, so we suggest that you use only the official airport transportation vehicles. The cost per person in a shared vehicle is 80 pesos approx.
• We don't have airport representatives, please don't get fooled, insist to be transported to the Astoria Hotel at Caleta Beach!
