Welcome to the Waterfall Hostel. This art-and-music inspired hostel is just nine kilometers outside of David, Panama on the road to Boquete. Located on 11,000 M2 of riverfront property, there are two inviting pools overlooking a breathtaking waterfall. But that's just the beginning. The scenery is second to none. The Waterfall Hostel offers dorm and private rooms, a communal kitchen, internet, music equipment and a wealth of exciting outdoor activities for those seeking adventure. We offer tours of the area including deep sea fishing, surfing, volcanoes, river rafting, scuba, horseback rides, canopy zip lines, hot springs and much more.
At The Waterfall Hostel, you'll also find a PDGA 9-hole disc golf course that begins at the reception door and winds through the citrus groves, along the river, beneath a wide variety of fruit trees before ending at a bar conveniently set next to one of our spectacular waterfalls. For the sports aficionado, The Waterfall Hostel is also home to a basketball court, volleyball court, ping pong table (beer pong anyone?), soccer field, dartboard, axe throwing and an almost-completed cricket field. The bar in the pool area features live music on the weekends, as well as a 100-disc, old school jukebox that kicks it during the day.
Our two pools are filled with water from the local falls. The larger pool holds 48,000 gallons of water and is the perfect place to chill or even do laps ? if that's your thing. Throughout The Waterfall Hostel, you'll find four waterfalls, the biggest of which you can actually jump off of. There are also natural waterslides that catapult you into the refreshing river from the side of a cliff.
Although it may sound too good to be true, these are all of the amenities you'll be privvy to at The Waterfall Hostel. The climate is moderate throughout the year ? warm during the day and cool at night. The river helps lower the temperature in the evenings. The best part is that staying in this tropical paradise won't cost you an arm? or a leg. Dorm rooms will set you back just $8 a night, while private, air-conditioned rooms cost just $25 a night.
