This light, bright beach house has stunning views overlooking Blue Haven Beach and the islands of the archipelago; it's quiet and welcoming and a haven in its own right. No words can possibly do justice to the several home-made jams on offer at the excellent breakfast.

The high ceilings, artwork and fresh flowers in the three-room guest wing here are charming. Each looks out to the ocean, each has a private outdoor sitting area, and there's a comfortable shared lounge with shelves of books and DVDs for cooler evenings. Windows are high, wide and expansive, letting in the light and those views to the edge of the world; you can even do your whale-watching from the balcony into the bay below! The separate guest wing affords privacy and space, and hosts Heather and Stephen are gracious and unobtrusive. As long-term locals, they have a wealth of information about things to do and see, and where you'll find them.
