Los Pinguinos is located in Pt Ayora on the island of Santa Cruz in the Galapagos.
We provide alternative accommodation for groups and individuals who want to explore the Galapagos independently and experience the hospitability of the local families.
It is primarily used by volunteers working in the nearby Charles Darwin research station. Other available volunteer positions are with the local hospital, schools, and ecological foundation.
Los Pinguinos has single, double, twin, and shared rooms. Bathrooms and showers are in each room. Breakfast is provided and full board is available.
We have four rooms as follows: Room 1 has a double and a Bunk bed,
Room 2 has two single beds and a bunk bed. Room 3 has one double bed and two single beds. Room 4 is a shared room which can fit six people.
All rooms are shared unless you book all beds in them. We have an outdoor eating area where we serve meals. Close to Los Pinguinos are several small stores where you can buy personal supplies.
