The great classical composer should be proud to lend his name to this refined institution. The handsome edifice dates to Mozart's era, as evidenced by the 17th-century tableau of the Virgin Mary on the building's facade. The interior also evokes the style and romance of centuries past.

The 20 individual guest rooms vary in size and decor, but they are all light and airy, decked out with elegant Victorian furniture and handmade tapestries alongside modern amenities. Plenty of attention has gone into the details of the decor, down to the antique light fixtures and the iron hooks to hang your hat. Additional comforts usually found only in upscale establishments, like terry bathrobes and electric kettles in every room, aim to make guests feel right at home. In the basement, the highly regarded gourmet restaurant is adorned with crystal chandeliers and frescoed walls. This sumptuous Italian baroque decor makes for a fancy setting to sample varied European dishes, such as the house specialty crayfish soup, bursting with fresh seafood and vegetables.
