New in 2005, Momotown promises to be a boon for budget travellers. This brand-newness also means that Momotown has yet to develop a real, vibrant atmosphere, but the colourful wall murals, the enthusiastic ownership and excellent location on the edge of Kazimierz are a good start.

This big facility offers dorm beds in rooms of different sizes (and plans to offer doubles and triples in the future). Separate bathrooms for men and women each have a row of disinfected shower and toilet stalls. It might feel like your high school locker room, but it's actually more practical for the dorm-style accommodation. That the facilities are sparkling clean makes up for the lack of privacy. At the time of research, this place did not provide lockers, but that is bound to change once the guests start arriving. Besides the standard hostel freebies (Internet, laundry, breakfast), Momotown offers free pick-up from the airport or train station with advance booking, which is a real bonus. Also, as an added incentive for longer-term guests, every fourth night at Momotown is on the house.
