In Pretty Woman, Richard Gere said he chose this hotel because he likes the best. While there are many 'bests' in LA, this legendary property has remained in that category since 1928, a bastion of style, glamor and top-notch comforts at the foot of Rodeo Drive.

Don't think it's stuck in the past, though. Managed by the Four Seasons group, the Beverly Wilshire offers up-to-the-minute amenities and takes luxury seriously, including a full health club and limited chauffeured limo services. Spa treatments include the 'High heel appeal' and 'Techie neck', which give you an idea of the hotel's clientele. Of the 395 rooms and suites, those in the original Wilshire Wing offer a more traditional experience, while the Beverly Wing, a more recently built tower, provides a more contemporary setting - and its upper-floor rooms have better views of the city and Hollywood Hills.
