Just a minute's walk from the remarkable Lykachivsky Cemetery, Hotel Eney is a private, gated villa on a brick-laid patio, where a small fountain runs. The sunny, spotless, and cheerfully painted rooms - with free wireless Internet and adult channels - seem to emulate a Scandinavian aesthetic.
The reasonably high prices apparently reflect the on-site pool and tiny fitness centre. Staff take themselves very seriously, and the vibe is a little on the stuffy side, but the Eney Hotel would be ideal for small groups (who could take over the place and overcome the stuffiness) or for those who feel the need for security and privacy. You never know when zombies may rise from their graves over at Lychakiv Cemetery, and if they do... well, you'll have a little extra time to prepare.
