Address: Piazza giuseppe missori 1 , Milan 20123, Italy Show on map
Located only a couple of blocks from the Duomo, this modern four-star offers well-equipped clean rooms and efficient service in a great little area that's comfortably removed from the tourist trail. While most of the hotel action in Milan is north of the Duomo, this masculine hotel (well, cavalieri are knights!), south of the Duomo is a restrained yet inconsistently styled affair, with 177 rooms facing either the piazza or an inner courtyard. The courtyard rooms are quieter. There's a range of differently decorated rooms and the business rooms are less fussily decorated than others - with white, tan and chocolate coloured highlights. The beds are comfortable and there are generous and decent toiletries in the very clean bathrooms. The hotel has a restaurant and a rooftop terrace (with views) that operate in the warmer months, and there's room service available. While there is aperitivo on offer in the lobby bar, there's not much to offer in terms of atmosphere.

It's just a short walk back to the Duomo from here or a quick stroll to the shopping of Via Torino. If you plan to shop on Via Torino in the late afternoon you can keep walking down to the Navigli for aperitivo and dinner.
