This hotel doesn't have a sign out the front, on the lift or the stairwell, making you feel like you're visiting a friend's place. What it does have lots of, however, is character that permeates throughout every individually decorated room of this charming hotel.

When you actually do find the reception of this petite hotel, you might wonder if you've stumbled into a friend's home office. Thankfully, your friend has 14 wonderful guest rooms, all individually decorated, immaculately clean and has thoughtfully placed fresh flowers everywhere. While the Classic and particularly the Master rooms are fine, the Terrace rooms (each with their own private area) are the pick of a lovely bunch. Worth noting if you're considering visiting in the middle of summer is that only these rooms have air-con. While some of the rooms have more chintz than others, it never verges on kitsch and while there's wi-fi (and broadband access) throughout, there are no TVs, helping to make the place blissfully quiet. While it has that homely feel, it's efficiently and professionally run.
