The Park Hyatt Ararat is an archetype of contemporary design: its glass and marble exterior is sleek and stunning, yet blends effortlessly with the classical and baroque buildings in the surrounding city centre. The graceful modern style extends inside to the atrium lobby, where glass and marble elevators whisk guests to the hotel's 11 floors.

The Ararat's 250 rooms feature every imaginable amenity, not the least of which are the Italian marble bathrooms, each with heated floor, separate shower and tub, and plush terry bathrobe. Muted tones - creams and beiges - create a soothing ambience, while the designated workspace features an executive desk and slatted wooden chair designed for business travellers. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of natural light. The Park Hyatt Ararat has Armenian investors, which explains the name. It also explains the exotic aromas wafting out of the Cafe Ararat, on the ground floor. Of the hotel's restaurants, however, the highlight is undoubtedly the top-floor Conservatory Lounge, which boasts panoramic views over Theatre Square and Red Square.
