Easily one of the most stylish and hip hotels in the city centre. This is truly a boutique hotel; the 119 rooms come with an array of amenities including floral arrangements of local wildflowers, CD players with jazz CDs, ceiling fans (in addition to the air-con) and more.

The lobby here surely busted somebody's credit limit with its elegant and elaborate floral arrangements, soaring Corinthian columns and rich furniture. There's even an iMac for those who want to check their email using a stylish OS. Rooms in this early 1900s commercial conversion are lavish. Besides the amenities listed above, other highlights include showers with two heads, waffle robes (for putting on pancake makeup), two-line phones and so on. The decor is functional with just a hint of whimsy. Should budget allow, go for the penthouse rooms which have sweeping terraces.
