Overlooking a park, this spotless hostel offers quality budget accommodation in two- to eight-bed rooms. The kitchen doubles as social room where people compare sunburn, and it's a good place to meet young travellers. However, not only backpackers are attracted here - the variety of rooms entices people of all ages.

Located in a fabulous Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) building, and looking like a cross between a Lutheran church and an elementary school, this hostel is split into two floors. On the first floor are the private singles, doubles and apartment/suites, all with private washrooms. These rooms are spacious, airy and bright. On the second floor are the dorm rooms, also spacious and sporting a nice park view; washrooms are shared. Quieter than your average busy international hostel and with a conservative air due perhaps to the building's history of religious ownership, this hostel offers a pleasant and relaxing place to crash after serious fun-in-the-sun.
