This delightful hotel in the heart of the city, with its elegant marble lobby and beautifully appointed rooms, is a real bargain. The service and facilities are of a uniformly high standard, and the Moroccan restaurant with live Arabic entertainment is worth a visit in its own right.

The hotel doesn't brag about its assets - it doesn't need to. This is one of those quietly elegant establishments that has already won a dedicated clientele. The stylish 2nd-level pool ringed by the city's most extravagant tower-blocks; the cigar and champagne bar that has the feel of a well-established gentleman's club; and the comfortable city-view rooms with all modern amenities are just some of the assets of this centrally located hotel. Visitors on a leisure break may regret the lack of a beachfront, but in all other respects this hotel is ideally suited to a city-centre experience. With a sophisticated set of good-quality restaurants offering international, Mediterranean and North African dining, the hotel nonetheless retains a sense of its Middle Eastern location, as much in the hospitality shown to the guests as in the rich and stylish fixtures and fittings.
