Lonely Planet review

Everything about this 800-room convention center behemoth is Texas size. The crowds, the cavernous lobby, the two-story waterfall by the crowds in the cavernous lobby... A normal scale Frederick Remington western bronze statue looks downright puny in all this space.

Even the upscale Finn & Porter restaurant is super-sized (of course there's big-eye tuna on the menu). Thankfully, the quality of the seafood and steak here surpasses all (real or imagined) gimmicks - earning raves from local reviewers. You have to pay for wi-fi up in the rooms, but it's free in the full-size coffee house, Java Jive, in the lobby. Your third dining option is a three-meal-a-day American bistro near the 4th St entrance. If you're interested in staying fit, you'll surely find your favorite machine in the 4,921sq ft (1,500sq m) health club and spa. Really, when is too much enough?
