Offering student dorm room accommodation, this hostel is clearly the cheapest place around, and not the worst if you don't mind outdated surroundings. Rooms on offer are for one to four people.

True, the grey, concrete building and lacklustre corridors aren't exactly gleaming examples of modernity but the place has a lively, friendly feel to it and rooms are decent and clean. The noise level in the morning can be high during school semesters, however. Staff are very flexible and if by chance there are no rooms available, they'll make room for you on the gym floor. The trump card is the opportunity to hire a young student guide to the town or island - well-trained and enthusiastic, these multilingual students offer a great, personalised way of getting to know Saaremaa. There's also Internet access, and meals are available for an extra charge.
