While Loizos isn't on the fashionable caldera edge, it's a stone's throw from it. It also has the advantage of reasonable prices, welcoming Cycladic hospitality, and a good location close to the centre of Firá.And it's not as if there's no view! Some of the rooms, as well as the breakfast space, have great perspectives down across the other side of the island right to the sea. The place is simple, comfortable and, as long as you're not after luxury, a good experience. It offers especially good value outside of the peak July-August period. There are two room types: studios and apartments. The former are fairly small but bright and comfortable enough, with OK bathroom, air-conditioning and simple kitchen. The apartments are duplex, with more space and a modern feel. All rooms have either a balcony or terrace space, and a peaceful atmosphere. The owners will (if they can) transfer you to and from port and airport.
