Don't mind that it's 10km (6mi) out of town; the free hotel shuttle takes care of that. This is the best value luxury hotel in and around Sarajevo. Plush rooms come with all the goods: wi-fi, satellite TVs boasting LCD monitors, minibars, safe deposit boxes and at least two original paintings by local artists.

Spanking new (2006), the Exclusive has 35 doubles and seven apartments. Two restaurants feed the hungry, one offering a buffet and the other à la carte. For pampering, there's massage, a sauna, fitness centre and a hairdresser. There is also an apartment with an indulgent showering machine that has two types of sauna as well as a shower and jacuzzi. If this wasn't Sarajevo, it'd leave you wondering why you ever needed to go out. While the nearby industrial yard outside is not a scenic plus, the mountains beyond are a definite eye puller. Some rooms have balconies from which to soak the scene in. The polyglot staff speak English, German, Italian, French, Danish and Swedish. Other services include changing money and renting you a laptop or a car.
