At the cheapest place in town, rates include sheets and use of the communal kitchen. The grounds are social and comfortable, and rooms are basic but neat and clean. Pass on the motel rooms, as there are plenty of nicer - and even cheaper - options.

If you're traveling alone and just need a place to lay your head, this serviceable hostel is the cheapest place in town. But if there are two or more of you and you have a few extra dollars to spare, head to one of the other budget options. It's hard to imagine how this place holds out against impossibly high real estate prices and the condos that are edging out smaller properties one by one. So be thankful for this truly budget option while it lasts. Common areas (thank goodness for common areas) include a TV room, communal kitchen and an outdoor area with picnic tables. There's also a vending machine stocked with toiletries and essentials. Lockers are provided (bring your own locks), as well as laundry facilities. Alcohol is prohibited.
