Housed in a former commercial building, this hostel, sleek and industrial on the outside, is all college bohemian inside. Convenient for those arriving via public transport, it's nevertheless a long walk to the Falls.

Think freshman dorm room meets Paul Coelho's The Alchemist, and you have a good idea as to this hostel's vibe. Following the alternative backpacker school of style to the letter, the public spaces and rooms are all colorful, wall murals in the hippy-cum-new age spiritualism mode. The standard bunk bed rooms are kept clean, however there are some mixed reviews as far as service and cleanliness of bathrooms are concerned; everything checked out at the time of research. Bring your own linens or rent for a few dollars per person. Self-caterers have access to a sizeable kitchen and there's a comfortable lounge with TV. Movie nights and weekly drumming jams jazz things up.
