If you're looking for international business standards but want a superb central location, the Antwerp Hilton is the obvious choice. It commands Groenplaats and is just two minutes' walk from the Grote Markt.

The architecture of its magnificent Belle Epoque facade gives the Hilton a look that's somewhere between a grand Budapest station and a Parisian department store. The most appealing feature of the complex is its glassed-in terrace cafe which looks out towards the splendid OLV Cathedral just across the square. Guest rooms are in warm colours with typical, international standard designs. Most actually occupy a relatively austere 1950s stone structure behind the beautiful old facade. The main difference between room types is in the 'extra' facilities; deluxe rooms have coffee- and tea-making facilities; executive rooms add a daily newspaper and free access to the fitness room and club lounge.
