A true boutique hidden off a quiet alley. Rooms are large, bright, and super contemporary in look. It's a unique look and even the light fixtures, chairs, and carpeting (a tasteful parquet design) are not what you'll find anywhere else. How cool is this place? It was the first hotel in Taipei with wireless Internet connection throughout. It's got a sleek business centre in a bright, airy atrium. Each room features a fax machine, DVD player, and voguish Asian-style posters adorning accent walls. They've also got great mattresses, and down quilts, which aren't cool, but they sure are comfy. Outside there's an intimate little garden, and inside a slick little cafe with free afternoon tea and snacks. The hotel is just behind an MRT station and it feels like its own neighbourhood back here. A number of excellent restaurants, bars, and cafes are nearby and you could safely stay within a 100m of the hotel for several days and still have a good time.
