As massive as an airport lobby, the Hyatt does an impressive job of keeping itself up-to-date and ship-shape. It's the most international hotel in Taipei, and service and amenities are top notch. There's little distinctive about the place but its location near the trade centre is ideal for some.

A flawless level of top-end comfort and functionality extends throughout the hotel. Standard rooms are bright, and some have impressive views of the mountains and Taipei 101. Every room has three phone lines, ADSL and fax options, plus a good workstation. For the serious business traveller the Grand Club on the 20-23rd floors offer guarded accommodation, private concierge and business services, and complimentary drinks and snacks all day. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel. The Hyatt features eight food and beverage options, including the classy Ziga Ziga lounge bar, popular with locals and visitors alike. The hotel has two lovely pools; the lower featuring the only poolside bar in Taipei. Few families with children stay at this hotel.
