Lonely Planet review

An imposing new upper-end business hotel whose black-mirrored glass and monumental frame might be a nod to the country's totalitarian past. The services and facilities offered match the price.

This is hands-down the most impressive hotel in town, offering a choice of indoor or outdoor swimming pools, an extensive gym and several good restaurants. Despite its size and price tag, the hotel often books out. The decor is elegant and modern, with comfortable furnishings and top-of-the-line facilities. The lobby is a free wireless hotspot, while dial-up is available for a fee in the rooms. The upper two 'Tower' floors are even more exclusive, with a fantastic lounge offering sweeping views of the city. Longer stayers will appreciate the kitchenettes in the large, open-plan Hospitality Suites, and there's a convenient supermarket in the shopping centre downstairs. I'm sure that some of the business guests never feel the need to leave the hotel complex at all.
