This stylish twin-towered high-rise offers an elegant spin on the usual giant business hotel with natty flourishes and great add-on service regarded as standard features. If you prefer to lock yourself in your room, you'll encounter one of the best cityscape vistas enjoyed by any downtown hotel.

Piercing the skyline like a glass sword, the newer of the two Wall Centre towers is the second-tallest building in Vancouver. While condos of the luxury persuasion occupy the higher floors of both towers, there's still plenty of room - and lots of high-end facilities - for guests used to the finer things in the Sheraton oeuvre. The 733 rooms - all with floor-to-ceiling windows - are decorated in a high-end business hotel style and include Internet access via TVs, thick robes and chi chi toiletries. There's a fitness center and popular spa in the hotel along with a large pool and plenty of eating options, including a café lined with glass artworks. Since business travelers make up the majority of the clientele here, there's a comprehensive pantheon of services, from high-tech conference facilities to a fully stocked business center.
