Attached to the Scandinavian Congress Centre and looking every inch the business hotel, the Radisson goes about its job with a minimum of fuss and a service-oriented smile. You know precisely what you're getting here, and that's not a bad thing when it's delivered right.

But it's not all laptops and power lunches - the Radisson also attracts music aficionados thanks to its prime location by Musikhuset Århus, the city's concert hall. You're also not far from the magnificent ARoS art museum: don't miss it. And in the summer season, when business travel is slow, the Radisson shows its warm and fuzzy side by putting bunks in some rooms to attract and accommodate families. Of course, in the best of Scandi business traditions, it's all very tastefully done. Rooms are precisely as you'd expect - fluffy duvets, neutral tones, nondescript modern decor, and good facilities (including free wi-fi, plus a trouser press and iron in every room to keep you looking sharp). Downstairs, under an atrium, is La Pyramide bar-lounge-restaurant - its handsome triangular bar looks the perfect place for loosening one's tie and doing some inter-office 'mingling'.
