Xela's newest hostel offers a good deal, and it's a great place to go if you're looking to meet up with other travellers. There's a sunny courtyard, bar/restaurant and lounge/TV area. Rates include a big breakfast.

Most of the rooms are upstairs, where there's also a glassed-in passageway - a warm and sunny spot to hang out. Downstairs, there's a pretty, flower-filled patio area, as well as a comfortable lounge/hang out area with fireplace and a bar/restaurant serving up decent Tex-Mex food. There's also a kitchen for guest use, which is well-equipped with microwave, fridge, etc. The dorms are a bit cramped - they squeeze a lot of bunk beds into not very much space, but that'll help you meet people, too.
