The only hostel on this side of the island, Pineapple Park is naturally a magnet for budget backpacker types. Private rooms are overly decorated but comfortable, and all guests have use of a lanai, a kitchen, laundry facilities and free wi-fi. Clean up before you show up or the grumpy owner might well turn you away. It's located between the 110- and 111-mile markers, with a line of colorful kayaks out front.
