Right in the middle of Skardarska, the restaurant street, and close to antique shops and art galleries in a leafy part of town replete with period buildings, Le Piaf is a swish, contemporary-style small hotel with 12 well-equipped rooms and mini-apartments in a cute little mews with lots of natural light and an appealing summer terrace courtyard.

It's very comfortable and stylishly contemporary with just 12 cosy, sympathetically lit rooms and apartments. Space is somewhat at a premium in the rooms, with the bathrooms suffering most. They are mostly tiny affairs with showers in all but two. The apartments have little mezzanine sleeping floors. All rooms and apartments come with air-con, minibar, phone, a large TV and free wireless Internet access. The less mobile will struggle since there's no lift up to the rooms. The à la carte breakfast is great by Belgrade standards although the restaurant isn't up to much in the evenings. All in all though it's one of very few good, contemporary Belgrade hotels and offers reasonable value for what you get.
