Soak in your private hot tub on your private deck and take in the gorgeous mountain views at sunset. It's the perfect way to end a perfect Aspen day. Specialising in pampering, everything here is pure luxury, and the service and location spot on.Right next to the Silver Queen Gondola, you can't ask for a better slope-side location than that of the Grand Hyatt. Just two years old, this swank hotel has already made the Conde Nast Traveller Gold List for the world's best. Rooms feel more like apartments than hotel abodes, with wide oak floors, kitchens made from granite and marble, and grand stone entranceways. The outdoor pool is heated year-round. Service is fabulous, with staff paying attention to the smallest personalised details. Of course all this pseudo Victorian-meets-King-Louis-era-French elegance comes with a hefty price tag, but when you're rich and famous enough to stay here (and most of the guests are), price is pretty irrelevant. Look online to score cheaper deals in the off seasons - October is a beautiful month, November has even better deals.
