This seriously tall, cutting-edge glass tower is Switzerland's tallest habitable building, making a stay here irresistible. Step inside and the trendy lobby with bubble chairs and chill music is equally gargantuan - get set to be dwarfed!
Of the 224 rooms spread between levels five and 14 (offices fill levels 15 to 30), corner rooms with two glass walls facing the city and mountains are the best. The sun floods in on clear days, but no worries; when the room hits a certain temperature the electric slatted blinds automatically glide down and the air-con starts whirring. Furnishings are crisp and modern, and bathrooms are lit up from beneath designer glass floors. For the ultimate urban chill-out, head to the hotel's executive lounge enviably placed at 101m (331ft) on level 30, an incredible Skylight (that's its name) on the city.
