Art Deco and French designs meet at this hip and ultra-stylish boutique gem in the heart of downtown Denver. It's a favourite with the Hollywood set, and many celebrities stay here when in town. One hundred percent pet friendly, staff will even deliver a named goldfish to your room upon request.

Superbly decorated and maintained, the lobby and modern rooms at Hotel Monaco, a Kimpton property, feature bold primary colour schemes and lots of stripes - lemon and crème on the walls, scarlet and white on the chairs. Beds are large, set in rich wooden frames, and almost too comfortable, with thick (faux) feather duvets and pillows that match the couch. Walls are adorned with oft obscure modern art. This eclectic hotel offers lots of unique perks. Our favourite is the evening 'Altitude Adjustment Hour', when guests enjoy free wine and five-minute massages. The Hotel Monaco also caters exceptionally well to business travellers, and was named one of the city's top business hotels by local and national press.
