A new place across the street from the Hiker's Hostel in the Old Town, Plovdiv Guest House has clean and bright new dorms, and modern, shared bathrooms. Somewhere in between a guest house and a hostel, it's not there yet in terms of atmosphere, but working on it.

The Guest House's modern dorms have either 10, eight or four beds, and there's one spacious attic double. Dorms conveniently feature their own self-contained and modern bathroom/shower. These features all make it an attractive place, but the common room, centred around a TV, is a bit too bright and lacklustre. The somewhat stiff atmosphere will hopefully improve after they finish constructing the new outdoor café out back, above the ancient Roman wall that juts out from behind the building.
