This hotel doesn't offer rooms you might rate as good, better or best. Here, it's more like superb, exquisite and beyond belief. Rooms are spacious and exude a richness rooted in old-world charm topped off with thoughtful modern conveniences that emphasize the 'art' of 'state of the art'.

Each room boasts an oversized writing desk, free high-speed Internet access, wi-fi, VOIP phones, cutting-edge entertainment gadgets and swanky marble bathrooms. Oh yes, and Italian linens, down comforters and access to a guest library. Large 'deluxe' rooms look down on Fenway Park (home of the Red Sox); 'supreme deluxe' rooms are slightly larger, with vaulted ceilings and a large sitting area, as well as king-size beds and two LCD televisions. On-site shops offer jewelry, customized perfumes, a photo gallery, boutique clothing, vintage books and flowers. You'll also find Great Bay, a phenomenal seafood restaurant that's garnered national praise, and Foundation Lounge, with a posh social scene, designer cocktails and appetizers.
