A first class business behemoth, the Danube dominates with serious services and can-do staff. Oh, and the location doesn't hurt either: to the south the Danube, to the west Bratislava Castle, to the north a pedestrian square and the opera house. OK, so the fourth side faces another hotel - but in general, the views can't be beat.
Is it the riverside location or the numerous business services that attract so many of the international set? A concierge floor includes access a club lounge with breakfast and happy hour, a computer room, as well as free laundry service, and sauna and jacuzzi use. Check online for the latest packages, offering savings and added amenities (like a free half-hour massage). Room decor has that could-be-any-hotel-in-the-world, but who cares when there's air-con, high-speed Internet, safe and minibar? Not forgetting the on-site car rental, airport transfers, garage parking, a florist, hairdresser, gym, swimming pool and two restaurants, of course. Sunday brunch is quite popular with expats.
