On the edge of Rostock's trendy bar district, the KTV, this family-run operation is clean and friendly, with a kitchen, laundry and loads of other facilities - although it is on a busy street. Hosts Iris and Gerd are always ready to help with local tips and you'll feel like one of the family by the time you leave (which for some guests turns out to be many days later than they'd planned).
