In a quiet neighborhood a 10-minute walk from Main St, this well-loved but not-too-worn hostel has coed dorm rooms, two private rooms, a shared kitchen, showers, free Internet access and great advice about what to do in Talkeetna. In climbing season, when they rent out even couch and floor space, reservations are key. To get here, take 2nd St (the airport road) off Talkeetna Spur Rd; you'll pass I St on the way to the runway at the end of the road.
