The Catholic Hostel has been the principal budget hostel in Tienhsiang for 50 years. The place is getting a bit long in the tooth but it still offers clean decent rooms and dorms at no-nonsense prices. The dorm rooms are a bit stark though, with old metal frame bunk beds and zero decorative touches.
